In this time the Essma brand has Become a household name, achieving and retaining its popularity through its reputation for excellence and proven ability to Provide Fashionable and high quality products at a reasonable price to its constantly growing number of devoted customers. This quality is recognised globally with Essma being one of the first Indian company to achieve accreditation for use of 'Pure New Wool', 'Merino Extra fine Wool' and 'Cool Wool' trademarks by the Woolmark company.

In addition to its unrivalled popularity at home, the global market is also warming to the feel of Essma's quality. The company currently exports its products to recognised international brands and resellers such as Ann Taylor, Liz Claiborne, Tie-Rack, BCBG Maxazria, Benetton, Country Road, Gap, Donna Karan and Dillards amongst others.

From fiber to finished article, Essma carries out all stages of production through their in house facilities. Shorn fleeces are combed, yarn is spun, fabrics are woven, dyed, finished and manufactured articles are embellished throughout the group's seven manufacturing sites. To ensure total control over quality, production and delivery, all Essma's manufacturing warehousing and sales centres are linked by the group's own transportation network.

Adding to high levels of support for the regional wool industry, Essma sources its precious wool fibers from select overseas suppliers for use in the manufacture of various fashion ranges including superfine Merino wools from Australia and New Zealand, Cashmere and Angora combed in Italy, Alpaca from South America and Mulberry Silks from Japan.

Essma's marketing network is vast, covering most of the country and supporting the 2500 retailers who sell the Group's products throughout India with eleven regional agents. Current Group projects include the setting up of a chain of Essma boutiques and direct marketing facilities for its high end products. The Group also caters for large accounts for the institutional and hospitality sectors including Indian Armed Forces.
